The Duston Teaching School Alliance has a number of Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) committed to improving schools through collaboration.
Our SLEs are proven outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other local schools and beyond in their specialist areas.
We ensure that as soon as an SLE request is made, we collaborate with you to identify specific areas of need and agree visit objectives and outcomes beforehand to enable visits to have a direct impact on improvement. We are flexible in our approach and strive to ensure that further visits can be organised in a timely way to enable improvements to continue linked to individual school needs.
Improvement Through Collaboration
We strive on being able to support schools to build capacity through our SLEs so will work with key leaders and staff in your school to develop their skills and enable them to lead developments with the support, guidance and understanding of the SLE to ensure long-term, sustainable improvements.
